Ivy Khor:

Acts 8:18-24 talks about Simon who wants to buy the gift of God from Peter by money. It reminds me the sermon from Pastor Lim. When I read it, I found that we have to establish a good attitude in Christ, so that people may see our difference and bring them before God.

Leonard:

In bible, Paul said, “I’ve learned how to be content no matter what state I’m in.” Bro and sis, here is a story I want to share. There is a news reporter interview one of the victims from hurricane happened in New Orleans. The reporter asked her sarcastically, “ok, tell us your story. What’s wrong?” “Nothing’s wrong”, she said, “I’m not here to complain. I’m here to thank God that I’m still alive, to thank God that my children are okay.” The reporter is curious, “do you have any problems?” The woman answered, “I don’t even have home, it was swept away in the flood.” She smiled and held up the bible, “I have my hope, joy, and peace”. That’s called trust and faith in the Lord!

Amy:

1 John 2:2-3 “He is the offering for our sins; and not for ours only, but for the entire world. And by this we may be certain that we have knowledge of him, if we keep his laws.” God offers Himself as the offering to wash away our sins, so that we can be new born in Christ. Everyone knows this, but the scripture says if we know but we don’t live out a godly life, and don’t keep his laws, there is nothing true in us. But in every man who keeps his word, the love of God is made complete. By this we may be certain that we are in him!
