Isaiah said “We will eat the fruit of our words” The scripture also says “with our tongue, we can either bless our life or we can curse” God didn’t create us to be average. We were created to excel, we are not only chosen by God, He equipped us with everything we need to live His abundant life. Bro and sis, you have seeds of greatness inside you, it’s up to you to grab the words of God and live a different life from now on. I have chosen my own life, do you?

Andrew:

Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” Yeah, God is our shelter who provides protection to us. Be passion. Don’t ever look down at yourself as we are son and daughter of God. Get power. We should not underestimate ourselves by our mind. Take the challenge and God will lead you to face every trouble you face. Follow plan. What is your purpose of life? God created us for purposes in His plan. Pray often. Prayer is the only way to chat with our Father.

Jemima:

After devotion, this sentence came to me, “SUBMISSION only happens when we OBEY even though we don’t agree with what we have been asked to do.” This sentence reminds me to do things willingly, no matter I like or not. So, I’m willing to take more challenges even I don’t like but I’m willing to serve God whenever He calls.

Ivy Khor:

Luke 19:26 “He replied, ‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away.’” Give all the best to your God. You’ll be given even more from Him. Don’t be selfish as sometime I will like that. Share everything good to your neighbor, including our God. As a Christian, preaching gospel is part of our responsibility too! It’s a great commission from God. Hallelujah! Amen!

Amy:

Life is a story. We are the characters, but God’s the director. A story without a good director won’t be interesting. The story will just go on dull and plain, without any climax and falling point. The happy and sad accounts we face in life are meant to be the climax and falling point, which spice up our life. So, don’t worry. Go on and put God in the first place as He is the director who will lead and direct the story of our life. Lay full faith in Him!

Jennifer:

Psalm 32:1 “Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.” David used blessed often in his poems to show that God has blessed him. To be blessed is a joyous position with right relationship with God. Let us be happy for God has blessed us good relation with Him!

Ivy Khor:

I always did mistake, I wonder how can I do huge matter to God? Since young until now my parents won’t rely or ask me to do things, except study. Luke 18:1 “…they should always pray and not give up” and V27 “what is impossible with men is possible with God.” May God help me in this weakness.

Karl:

When I read John 17:9 “My prayer is not for the world but for those you have given me, because they belong to you”, my heart froze, nose warmed and tear flooded my eyes. We are not anyone but someone, someone God cares so much that He set us apart and made us exclusively His!

When Jesus was baptized, He came up out of the water and a voice boomed out of the heavens, saying, “This is my beloved son in whom I pleased.” Of course, Jesus was uniquely God’s son, but I believe God is saying that to us too. He is well pleased with you and me.

Andrew:

Psalm 41 “blessed is he who considers the poor; the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble, the Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; you will sustain him on his sickbed.” Today I saw my shepherd back again to his role of service. Yesterday he fell sick till unable to join the carenet. Today I saw him at YAM night. Great! God is awesome. Blessed his son and daughter. He is the one who heals your illnesses. Amen.

Throughout our life, we’ll never lack of friends. We may have many friends, but not of all are of our soul mates. These kinds of friends, who will be with us whenever good or bad time, should be appreciated. They are angels sent by God to share our happiness and sorrows. God heals us through these friends, encourages us through them, etc… I am glad to have a lot of good friends around me, thanks God! All of my dear and beloved friends, thanks for these days. You all really mean a lot to me. God bless you!

God will take away the things which occupy our heart if we don’t put God at the first place. It’s to remind us that He’s the purpose of our life and what’s truly important in our life. Let us always live for God and have Jesus’ behaviors. Let us influence others by our life.

Isaiah 44:3-4 “I’ll pour out my spirit on your offspring and my blessing on your descendants” I thank God for blessing me in everything I do. When I pray, miracles happen. When I sing praises, I feel comforted. Thank you Lord, for being my Lord, for blessing me and my descendants to come!

Psalm 103:2-6 “Praise the Lord, oh my soul, and forget not all His benefits-who forgives all of our sins… who satisfies your desires with good things.” Lord is so great, but we are so comforted and always take it for granted. Be alert! Be a good disciple of God.

Ivy Khor:

Luke 17:1 “Things that cause people to sin are bound to come, but woe to that person through whom they come.” Don’t be a Christian who will bind people down but the one who encourages people to glorify God’s name. Always be alert. So bro and sis, let’s live out our Christian life!

Amy:

2 Thessalonians 3:5 “may the Lord bring you into an ever deeper understanding of the love of God and the endurance that comes from Christ” Through the video we watched just now, once again, I realize how great is our God’s love. And through the testimonies that people shared, I also learn our God is just so real! He never abandons us; instead, He is with us all the time. In Christ, maybe not everything we face will be smooth, but every difficulty we face will surely have their ways to curb. Don’t worry; just follow Him, whenever and wherever. His love is just too great that we can never imagine and expect!

Leonard:

Jesus said “Love your neighbor as you love yourself” Important, to love others is to love yourself. If you don’t have a healthy respect for who you are, and if you don’t learn to accept yourself, you will never be able to properly love others. We should never criticize other person “you are really dumb, you are unattractive, you are undisciplined, I don’t like you.” We also can’t criticize ourselves as you are criticizing God’s ultimate creation.

Andrew:

Psalm 40:1-2 I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a terrible pi, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. God indeed never gives up His love to me through these years. He never gives up me although I have gone through rebellion period before. God said He patiently wait for all His son and daughter to change and live for Christ. He indeed listens to our cry. He pulls me out of darkness and leads me to light where love, hope, and faith are. Don’t worry. God will lead you in His way. God bless…

Clear your mind of can’t. In the kingdom of God, there’s nothing to be impossible on His hand. We should have a mindset of can. Sometimes we want to try something that is beyond our limitation. We always think we can’t. We can do it as long as we try. Have faith in Jesus. We can do the miracle to change surrounding. In the name of Jesus, we declare in our God’s hand nothing is impossible.

Amy:

1 Thessalonians 5:22 “Keep away from every kind of evil.” In this era of time, the world is filled with all kinds of evil things, as Christians, we should really behold ourselves tightly, especially behold our hearts; don’t be influenced by the worldly elements which may lead us to Satan’s traps. We should keep ourselves away from all kinds of evil, no matter how small or little the evil is. Let us pray that our hearts and minds will always be clean and pure. Amen.

Jennifer:

Proverbs 2:12 “Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked man” Man has been seeking wisdom ever since they’re made. There is no denial that we’re very advanced now, but our wisdom is declining. We’re not seeking God’s wisdom. We’re starting to become wicked men. Pray for God to lead us to right wisdom.

Leonard:

Matthew 9:17 “No man pour new wine into old wineskins, if they do, the skins will burst, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined” Same as us, once we have accepted Christ, we should always pray for revival to our spirit. A new blessing from God comes with a new faith and attitudes. We can’t live out a new blessed life with our old mentality and old self. Let our self be buried, and expand our views of spiritual eyes on God’s kingdom. Receive the new blessing as a real prince or princess of our Almighty King!

Ivy Khor:

Luke 16:31 “If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.” God told me: “Stay in faith, my daughter.” God already arranged everything for us neatly. He sent Holy Spirit to us and used people surrounding us to tell or remind us of His word. It depends on you whether you want to hear or not. Again He said: “Do not be afraid of ‘the thing’ as you have me” Amen. So, love your God truly, madly, deeply.
