Jennifer:

Job 1 the Lord said to Satan, ‘everything he has is in your hands, but do not lay a finger on him.’ Job was enjoying life when suddenly everything went wrong. He lost everything but he never blames God. We should follow Job’s faith in God. Though sometimes bad thing happens, do not be separated from God’s love.

Andrew:

“For the director of music. For Jeduthun. A psalm of David. My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.” (Psalms 62:1-2) Thanks for leading me till today. Everything should count to blessing. Where our grace comes from? It’s from our mercy God. I believe our beautiful changes of life will touch more souls. We only get salvation from Him, not other way. Spread it through your amazing and blessed life. Assist surrounding lost sheep to get back their original tracks. We declare we can do it. Amen.

Ivy:

Judges 6:37-40 Gideon didn’t have full faith in God. He wanted to see, then only he can believe it, but God wants a Christian living is a walk of faith, not sight. In all circumstances, we still trust our God though it seems to have no way; His presence is always there.

Xin Yi:

CONFIDENCE: One day, all villagers decided to pray for rain. On the day of prayer all the people gathered and only one boy came with umbrella. That’s CONFIDENCE! TRUST: Trust should be like feeling of a one-year-old baby, when you throw him into the air, he laughs, because he knows you will catch him. HOPE: Every night we go to bed, have no assurance to get up alive next morning but still we have many plans for coming days. So, keep CONFIDENCE, TRUST in God.

Ivy Khor:

John 11:6 Yet when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was 2 more days. We can see that even Jesus may struggle from saving His life or His “loves one” for 2 days, but He’d made a good decision is to go back without worry about His safeties to do God’s will. Jesus is a good example for us (love our neighbour as yourself). Don’t worry when you face problems in life, know that He is your God, who loves you, and always be there for you. Pray to Him always so that your relationship will be closer. Let us love more our God, as Jesus sacrifice His Holy blood to cleanse every one of our sins. Practise it out in real life, love even your enemy.

Amy:

Hebrews 4:12 “the word of god is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires” God’s word is really powerful. It just can touch one deeply and has the mean of healing. It brings hope, encouragement, and joy. So, always hunger for His words!!

Ivy Khor:

John 9:3-4 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, said Jesus, but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life. As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me…” It reminds me to all abnormal people at birth in this world. We have merciful on them, but is that enough for us to just provide them materiality and financial? Forgot the most important one is to give them Jesus Christ? Don’t think that they won’t accept, but keep try hard to let them know the truth! May gospel reach among them, that moment may God open their eyes, Holy Spirit talk to them. Hallelujah! Amen!

Jemima:

God sent us to the world as an ARMY. So don’t be afraid of the hardness in life as HE allowed it to happen. It happens with heavenly purpose.

Xin Yi:

Numb. 13:25-14:12. Sometime we care too much about how the others look at us, and value opinions other than God’s. But, God is the major audience, authority and judge of our life, our life is all about Him. If our sense of security is based on what people think, then we won’t have any security at all, as people are fickle. Pal, next time when you feel lost in the rackel, stand still, listen to what Jesus says, ask yourself, whose are you? Will you stand firm what you stand for?

Jennifer:

Galatians 6:7 “A man reaps what he sows”. Sow seeds of God-honoring behaviour. Seeds refer to the way we live every day. Good seeds sown will become the fruit of God’s blessings. We’re always sowing seeds in life by everything we do and say. So let’s make sure the fruit we rear comes from the good we do each day.

Ivy:

Deuteronomy 14:1-2 “You’re the children of the Lord your God. Out of all people on the face of the earth, the Lord has chosen you to be His treasured possession”. Whom and what shall we fear? We are the chosen and treasured one. God’s hands are upon us. We can live a better life!

Leonard:

Judges 3:6 “…They took their daughters in marriage and gave their own daughters to their sons and served their gods”. God sees this as evil and the anger of God will against these people. God wants us who believe Him shall not tolerate and serve other gods. When we choose our life partner who is not believer, we are actually tolerated with the sin and open an opportunity to serve and receive the evils. So be still, and wait for God’s timing and His best for us when there seems no way. Same with working adult, choose the work that brings glory to Him rather than just to survive, as our God is the provider.

Amy:

Hebrews 3:12-14 These verses clearly remind us to have faith in God, that we won’t be easily deceived by sin and hardened against God. Behold our hearts from evil and unbelieving which may turn us away from God. We should always remind one another to have faith, and trust God just as we first believed.

Ivy Khor:

John 8:47 “He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God”. I see ‘repent’. The important of it, will only see by us as a real Christian. Jesus had repeated many times that He is from our Father in Heaven, yet many didn’t place His word into mind and keep protest. Sometimes we did as what they did too. May God help us to strengthen our faith, use us more and more to glorify God’s name. Amen.

Ivy:

Judges 1:28 God had commanded Israel to drive the Canaanites out of the land completely, but Israelites didn’t obey God, they took advantages on it. At last, they suffered from what they had done. This reminded me to do what God wants, not what we want. Although it may be tough, God will give us the best throughout all these.

Jennifer:

Acts 16:31 “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved”. I was reading revelation and was shocked by the things that will happen in the near future. There is no denying that it’s near judgement day. But have no fear! We’ve all received salvation! Pray to God that we and our love ones will be ready to receive judgement!

Amy:

Hebrews 2:1 “so we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it” There are always lots of temptations around us which make us easily lose faith and deny God. But the scripture says people were punished for every act of disobedience. So be careful, don’t easily lose faith and stray away from Him.

Andrew:

“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.” (Psalms 51:17) Read through 51 verses of Psalm, you’ll find out everyone has sin since he was born onto this world. For God, he loves us and knows that sin will pull away between us and him. Indeed, he gives us a chance to turn over a new leaf. He will care those who have heart broken. He will heal them by his healing hand. I’m going back tomorrow. Thank you bro and sis for these few months. I appreciate it very much. I never expect I will have my life like this. I believe everything has been prearranged by God. Everything happened has its own meaning. See ya next year. God is good all the time.

Leonard:

The scripture says that “love keeps no record of wrongs done to it” Here is a story. One day, a new married lady just got a car accident. She cried “I’m fine… But I just got married and my husband gave me this car as a wedding gift, he is going to be upset. I don’t know what to do.” The man told her to calm down and ask her insurance information. She tried to find where the insurance card was and finally found it at glove compartment. It’s written on that card from her husband “honey, just in case you ever have an accident, please remember I love you and not the car” So touched! God will do the same when we have made a silly mistake. He will always be there to forgive us and wait for us to come back to His hug.

Ivy Khor:

John 6:21 “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.” The pieces are like many lives. This sentence reminds me there are lots of people who haven’t get their salvation. Get to communicate with them to know their needs, and then introduce our God to them. Let the relationship won’t be wasted in incorrect purpose. May God bless those non-Christians to get their salvation, especially our friends surrounding us. Lead us to bring them to You. Amen.

Karl:

“If we claim to know Jesus, we should live, walk and act as He would. Knowing Him is more than simply quoting scripture and going to church. It is actually living the words as life unfolds day to day”. This little message once again reminds me to be a real Christian and Christ like, not just a church goer and Christian by cover. Start evaluating yourself what is not right with you in your life and fix it before God!

Jennifer:

Ever imagined what heaven is like? Revelation speaks of heaven but what’s it like. From the bible, we’ll be united with loved ones there. Heaven is where God is on His throne, a place of worship and praise for those who overcome this life. Overcome this life with Christ by your side and we’ll enter heaven together!

Amy:

Philemon. From this book, we learn about Philemon, this guy who always loves and trusts God. We should, as well, do like this. Trust God, and have faith to love God’s people. The love from God, which is expressed to others through us, can be a blessing to others, they may gain comfort from it. Love others, show kindness to them.

Andrew:

“Consider this, you who forget God, or I will tear you to pieces, with none to rescue: He who sacrifices thank offerings honours me, and He prepares the way so that I may show Him the salvation of God”. (Psalms 50:22-23) In life we may ignore God for our own reasons. Indeed, we shall not forget Him in time of peace as He is the one who gifts us a peaceful life. Don’t ignore Him whatever you are. For those who keep His word and apply in life, they will be blessed as stated. Choices are always on our hands. We can decide to live a better life with God’s grace. Amen.

Leonard:

Judges 2:1-4 “…I will never break my covenant with the people of this land, but you shall break down their altars…” God is leading us to a better life when the time we accepted Him to be our Lord. However, there are a lot of our old self that remain in us to be our own Lord and disobey His commands. God is fair and justice. He will take action and use His way to discipline His people. So, fear the Lord, is the best and wise way we should seek.

Ivy:

Matthew 19:16-21 “if you want to enter life, obey the commandments” God said if we love Him, we’ll obey what He command. Often, we didn’t obey Him though we say we love Him. God wants us to put our relationship with Him as our life’s priority. Surrender all of our life to Him! We’ll see the difference.

Ivy Khor:

John 5:30 “By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgement is just, for I seek not to please myself but Him who sent me.” Jesus is the example for us as human; we can do nothing without God’s permission. God likes us to obey His word which delivered by Holy Spirit. Let us do what God likes us to do, be what God wants us to be. Seek for His permission first before doing a thing. Let us be the one who is favourable in God’s eye.

Jennifer:

2 Corinthians 8:9 “For Jesus Christ, though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich” When I saw this verse, I’m heart-broken. Jesus did so much for us, He gave up His luxuries, and He even gave His life just for us. I’ll forever treasure what I have now, as they’re Jesus’.

Ivy:

Matthew 18:10-14 …Our heaven Father in heaven is not wiling that any of His sheep to get lost… God never abandons any life, but He seeks the lost. We as a disciple of Him should do what God does. Don’t forget to pray hard for the lost and bring them to God, especially our beloved family.

Leonard:

Scripture says, “iron shapes iron”. The way we live our lives with one another should encourage one another to do better. This has reminded me, I’m going to be a giver and not a taker. I want to build people up and tear them down. So when you get up in the morning, instead of applying your energies to how you can be blessed, find some ways to be a blessing to someone else.

Amy:

Titus 3:5 “He saved us, not because of the good things we did, but because of His mercy.” Oh, what a stunning verse! God is full with kindness, it’s all because of His kindness and mercy, we can get salvation. He generously poured out the spirit upon us and declared us not guilty. Remember, it’s all because of His love and mercy, not of our deeds!
