Ivy Khor:

John 8:47 “He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God”. I see ‘repent’. The important of it, will only see by us as a real Christian. Jesus had repeated many times that He is from our Father in Heaven, yet many didn’t place His word into mind and keep protest. Sometimes we did as what they did too. May God help us to strengthen our faith, use us more and more to glorify God’s name. Amen.

Ivy:

Judges 1:28 God had commanded Israel to drive the Canaanites out of the land completely, but Israelites didn’t obey God, they took advantages on it. At last, they suffered from what they had done. This reminded me to do what God wants, not what we want. Although it may be tough, God will give us the best throughout all these.

Jennifer:

Acts 16:31 “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved”. I was reading revelation and was shocked by the things that will happen in the near future. There is no denying that it’s near judgement day. But have no fear! We’ve all received salvation! Pray to God that we and our love ones will be ready to receive judgement!

Amy:

Hebrews 2:1 “so we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it” There are always lots of temptations around us which make us easily lose faith and deny God. But the scripture says people were punished for every act of disobedience. So be careful, don’t easily lose faith and stray away from Him.

Andrew:

“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.” (Psalms 51:17) Read through 51 verses of Psalm, you’ll find out everyone has sin since he was born onto this world. For God, he loves us and knows that sin will pull away between us and him. Indeed, he gives us a chance to turn over a new leaf. He will care those who have heart broken. He will heal them by his healing hand. I’m going back tomorrow. Thank you bro and sis for these few months. I appreciate it very much. I never expect I will have my life like this. I believe everything has been prearranged by God. Everything happened has its own meaning. See ya next year. God is good all the time.

Leonard:

The scripture says that “love keeps no record of wrongs done to it” Here is a story. One day, a new married lady just got a car accident. She cried “I’m fine… But I just got married and my husband gave me this car as a wedding gift, he is going to be upset. I don’t know what to do.” The man told her to calm down and ask her insurance information. She tried to find where the insurance card was and finally found it at glove compartment. It’s written on that card from her husband “honey, just in case you ever have an accident, please remember I love you and not the car” So touched! God will do the same when we have made a silly mistake. He will always be there to forgive us and wait for us to come back to His hug.

Ivy Khor:

John 6:21 “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.” The pieces are like many lives. This sentence reminds me there are lots of people who haven’t get their salvation. Get to communicate with them to know their needs, and then introduce our God to them. Let the relationship won’t be wasted in incorrect purpose. May God bless those non-Christians to get their salvation, especially our friends surrounding us. Lead us to bring them to You. Amen.

Karl:

“If we claim to know Jesus, we should live, walk and act as He would. Knowing Him is more than simply quoting scripture and going to church. It is actually living the words as life unfolds day to day”. This little message once again reminds me to be a real Christian and Christ like, not just a church goer and Christian by cover. Start evaluating yourself what is not right with you in your life and fix it before God!

Jennifer:

Ever imagined what heaven is like? Revelation speaks of heaven but what’s it like. From the bible, we’ll be united with loved ones there. Heaven is where God is on His throne, a place of worship and praise for those who overcome this life. Overcome this life with Christ by your side and we’ll enter heaven together!

Amy:

Philemon. From this book, we learn about Philemon, this guy who always loves and trusts God. We should, as well, do like this. Trust God, and have faith to love God’s people. The love from God, which is expressed to others through us, can be a blessing to others, they may gain comfort from it. Love others, show kindness to them.

Andrew:

“Consider this, you who forget God, or I will tear you to pieces, with none to rescue: He who sacrifices thank offerings honours me, and He prepares the way so that I may show Him the salvation of God”. (Psalms 50:22-23) In life we may ignore God for our own reasons. Indeed, we shall not forget Him in time of peace as He is the one who gifts us a peaceful life. Don’t ignore Him whatever you are. For those who keep His word and apply in life, they will be blessed as stated. Choices are always on our hands. We can decide to live a better life with God’s grace. Amen.

Leonard:

Judges 2:1-4 “…I will never break my covenant with the people of this land, but you shall break down their altars…” God is leading us to a better life when the time we accepted Him to be our Lord. However, there are a lot of our old self that remain in us to be our own Lord and disobey His commands. God is fair and justice. He will take action and use His way to discipline His people. So, fear the Lord, is the best and wise way we should seek.

Ivy:

Matthew 19:16-21 “if you want to enter life, obey the commandments” God said if we love Him, we’ll obey what He command. Often, we didn’t obey Him though we say we love Him. God wants us to put our relationship with Him as our life’s priority. Surrender all of our life to Him! We’ll see the difference.

Ivy Khor:

John 5:30 “By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgement is just, for I seek not to please myself but Him who sent me.” Jesus is the example for us as human; we can do nothing without God’s permission. God likes us to obey His word which delivered by Holy Spirit. Let us do what God likes us to do, be what God wants us to be. Seek for His permission first before doing a thing. Let us be the one who is favourable in God’s eye.

Jennifer:

2 Corinthians 8:9 “For Jesus Christ, though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich” When I saw this verse, I’m heart-broken. Jesus did so much for us, He gave up His luxuries, and He even gave His life just for us. I’ll forever treasure what I have now, as they’re Jesus’.

Ivy:

Matthew 18:10-14 …Our heaven Father in heaven is not wiling that any of His sheep to get lost… God never abandons any life, but He seeks the lost. We as a disciple of Him should do what God does. Don’t forget to pray hard for the lost and bring them to God, especially our beloved family.

Leonard:

Scripture says, “iron shapes iron”. The way we live our lives with one another should encourage one another to do better. This has reminded me, I’m going to be a giver and not a taker. I want to build people up and tear them down. So when you get up in the morning, instead of applying your energies to how you can be blessed, find some ways to be a blessing to someone else.

Amy:

Titus 3:5 “He saved us, not because of the good things we did, but because of His mercy.” Oh, what a stunning verse! God is full with kindness, it’s all because of His kindness and mercy, we can get salvation. He generously poured out the spirit upon us and declared us not guilty. Remember, it’s all because of His love and mercy, not of our deeds!

Leonard:

Matthew 14:22-32 In this scripture, we can see hoe Peter experience the amazing miracles walking on the water as Jesus do. As we all know, Peter had many rough edges. He was hot tempered, loud, bombastic, and impetuous, but that didn’t deter Jesus. Jesus didn’t say “forget it, Peter. I’m going to find somebody a little more refined than you” Instead Jesus worked with Peter to bring the best out of him. Same to us, you may think you are nothing but in God’s eyes, you are so precious till He is willing to sacrifice Himself on the cross just to give another chance to live a godly life. Do not stop discovering God’s amazing grace in your life, hunger Him more than any other things in your life.

Jennifer:

2 Corinthians 5 “Through Christ our comfort overflows” Our suffering is a link to Jesus Christ. Jesus lived in our world, living within believers; He shares our pain and sorrow. He joins us in our suffering, and also He offers us comfort. Don’t think that you’re suffering alone. You have Jesus by your side every time.

Xin Yi:

True giving happens when you are overflowing from the inside, and cannot help but share. When there is so much love within you that it has to flow to others or you would burst open. There is no thinking involved, no willpower in such sharing. It just flows out. If you have to force yourself to be kind, to love, to feel compassion, you’ve missed the first step of filling in your own self with these emotions. But how? Jesus is the source and the answer. So pal, when your cup is overflowing with blessing, when you receive the ultimate love from God, joyfully share with those in need. You are blessed, so you can be a blessing of the others. Old, but true.

Ivy:

Matthew 18:1-4 Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? Jesus said ‘unless you change and become like little child, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven!’ We must have a child’s faith to God and receive everything from Him just like a plain child. God loves children for being so pure to Him. Don’t be suspicious with what God has done. Trust Him with whole faith.

Ivy Khor:

John 4:22-24 “You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are kind of worshippers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and His worshippers must worship in spirit and in truth.” We, as Christians, are not worshipping or believing blindly in our God, we believe because we know God is the truth! He sent His only son Jesus Christ to sacrifice for our sins and bring salvation to us. Let us become a strong warrior, fight for Christ in the spiritual war! Proclaim that we are Son of God, the REAL Christian! May Holy Spirit fill all of us to do what God wants us to do. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Amy:

Titus chapter 2, throughout the whole chapter we can see clearly about the teachings for men, women, the elder, the youth… So we can see everyone has actually had our own roles in loving godly life. In Christ, everyone is just the same, no matter of gender or age. God treats us just the same that we are all His children.

Ivy:

Proverbs 31:10-31 A godly wife always gives her service to others, her husband, and her children. She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. She is clothed with strength and dignity! Godly service is the source of her nobility. Ladies, let’s learn to be a noble wife and mum who offers lovingly.

Ivy Khor:

John 3:5 “…no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” From this I believe that I’m the special one! As a real Christian, we are differentiated from non-Christians! The things that non-Christians can do we also can do, just that we choose not to do. However, they can’t do what we can do, for God wants us to victorious not only in one thing but everything in our life! Hallelujah! God opens my eyes to see this.

Xin Yi:

Philippians 4:6-7 Don’t worry about anything, instead, pray about everything. Imagine never worrying about anything! It seems like impossibility. We all have worries on the job, in our homes, at school. But Paul’s advice is to turn our worries into prayers. Do you want to worry less? Then pray more! Whenever you start to worry, stop and pray.

Jennifer:

1 Corinthians 13:13 “And now these three remain, faith, hope and love. But the greatest is love.” Love is powerful. God loves the world so much that He gave His only son to it. Love is patient and kind. It always protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres. Let us love everyone the way Jesus loves us. We love because God loves us first.

Amy:

Titus 1:15 “everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure.” One who has clear mind can easily believe in God, he won’t doubt and hesitate. As for one whose mind is not pure, he likes to complexify things, always doubts and judges things with his own perspection. Jesus likes us to be pure, just like a child, who is plain and pure in thinking, that everything may come easy to us.

Andrew:

“Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. How awesome is the Lord Most High, the great King over all the earth! He subdued nations under us, people under our feet.” (Psalms 47:1-3) God is awesome; He is always with us every time. I feel glad to know Him but feel sad that still have a lot of people didn’t know our almighty God. Throughout whole trip, God lets me notice what I am inadequate in myself in order to move to next step. My temper, my stand, my foundation of religion. All these I still need to improve. God, you are the king of earth. You have Your plan to put us on this land. Pray hard and read bible often. Amen.

Leonard:

Matthew 14:22-32 Jesus walked on the water… this scripture told us the real identity of Jesus. He is God; He overcomes the law of gravity and law of natural principles. Therefore, do not use our limited mentality and intelligent to explain or experience Him. He is the Messiah who gave us hope and love to face our own crisis. When you think you are in a mess, put your hand to your heart and pray to God about your situation, He surely will hear your whisper and open an amazing way for your life.

Khen:

约翰一书4:1-29 讲到一切的灵不可都信, 要试验是否来自神因很多假先知出来. 若那灵认耶稣是成了肉身来的, 就是出于神, 若不是就是敌基督的灵.
